Naturopathic Institute Accepting Applications for Fall Classes
The Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education (NITE) is accepting applications for Fall 2021 classes in the Natural Health: Naturopathy Program, the Massage Therapy: Therapeutic Bodywork Practitioner Program and the Doula Training: Holistic Labor Companion Program. Deadline for applications is July 15. Classes will be held on the Mount Pleasant campus.
The Naturopathy program offers four years of training with a new credential offered at the end of each year. After the fourth year, students may take the American Naturopathic Medical Association National Exam to receive the title Naturopathic Doctor (N.D.).
Licensed massage therapists are in demand and NITE’s one-year program to become a trained practitioner provides all the necessary hours and requirements to take the state licensing exam.
Hospitals and midwifery agencies are looking for doulas to help meet the demand of families looking for more natural childbirth services. NITE’s seven-month training experience is ideal for those passionate about the birth process and committed to supporting mothers through pregnancy, birth and early infancy.
NITE has been offering natural health classes for more than 25 years and is accredited by the American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Association. They are recognized by the state of Michigan as an approved provider of massage programs and also by the NCBTMB, VA, Tuition Assistance Programs and more.
